City Council

The City Council are the legislative body of the City of East Palo Alto. The City Council represent the interest and aspirations of the entire community and is responsible for providing policy direction and developing the City’s priorities. The City Council selects and appoints the City Manager and the City Attorney. The City Manager serves as the Chief Executive Office, responsible for day-to-day operations of the City to implement the City Council policies and priorities.  The City Attorney advises and represents the City and the City Council in all legal issues.

East Palo Alto City Council Chamber is ADA compliant. General Municipal Elections

The General Municipal Election is held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, in even-numbered years.  Council terms are for four years.
