City Parks

East Palo Alto has five main parks and four smaller “pocket” parks throughout its 2.5 square miles. The City also passed an updated Parks Master Plan in 2023 which outlines the new parks and park improvements the City plans to make in coming years. See below for more information on city parks, the parks plan, and activities in the parks.

There are also two temporary pop-up parks with play structures at West Bayshore and Donohoe, and West Bayshore and Newell.

Parks Master Plan

In 2023, the City adopted a new Parks Master Plan outlining improvements to existing parks and new park acquisitions over the coming years. The plan could not have been developed without critical input from residents over a two year engagement process. View the full Parks Master Plan here.
