Did you know that one gallon of motor oil dumped in our bay can contaminate up to one million
gallons of our bay's water?! Please recycle your motor oil correctly by doing the following:
Curbside:
If you live in a house, Allied Waste/BFI will collect used motor oil at the curb. A maximum of two one
gallon, clear plastic containers of used motor oil can be recycled. Tape container shut to
avoid spills. Do NOT mix with antifreeze, transmission fluid, water or anything else.
Drop off:
If you do not have curbside collection of motor oil, or other hazardous materials generated by
your car, the list below details drop off locations:
