The David E. Lewis Community Reentry Center is a valuable resource which helps residents who are returning home from prison with their reintegration into the community. It’s a partnership between East Palo Alto and San Mateo County.

PHSAnimal Control
Information about the San Mateo County Animal Control & Licensing office, and the Peninsula Humane Society, with whom the City contracts for animal control services.

Code Enforcement TruckCommunity Service Aide
Under general direction, Community Service Aides perform a wide range of field and office duties to support and/or accomplish the goals and objectives of the Police Department.

One of their most vital contributions to the community is parking enforcement.  This includes inoperable vehicles, abandoned vehicles, RV/storage, vehicles parked over 72 hours without moving and general parking complaints.

 If you are reporting a parking complaint 
 please detail the location of the vehicle
 and include a description.  
 Vehicle descriptions should include the
 following if you can safely obtain it:

 Body Type
 License Plate Number
   Please know that your concerns are always important to us, however we
   may not be able to respond the same day you leave a message.

   Private property concerns and building code violations are still handled by
   Code Enforcement.  Code Enforcement is now under the City's Building
