Rent Board Meetings

Regular Rent Board Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm in the City Council Chambers at 2415 University Avenue, East Palo Alto. The public is welcomed to attend.

 

Rent Stabilization Board Vacancy

The City of East Palo Alto Rent Stabilization Board is now inviting interested members of the community to submit an application for the vacant Tenant and/or Tenant Alternate and Landlord positions. Interest citizens should contact the Rent Stabilization Division.

 

Petition

Landlord and tenants are entitled to a fair and impartial hearing regarding rental rates, eviction and habitability.

 

Maximum Legal Rents

A certificate of maximum legal rent will be issued by the Rent Stabilization Division every year in June. A landlord may not charge rent in excess of the amount stated on the certificate.
