The City Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers, East Palo Alto City Hall, 2415 University Avenue.

Redevelopment Agency Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 in the Council Chambers, East Palo Alto City Hall, 2415 University Avenue.

The General Municipal Election is held on the First Tuesday after the First Monday in November, in even numbered years. Council terms are for four years. The terms of the Mayor and Vice Mayor are for one year and expire at the first meeting in December.
